Dr. Nick Tsaggarelis has been helping people achieve their optimal health for almost two decades. He earned his Bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University, his Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and his Masters of Education from the University of Toronto (OISE), in the field of Healthcare Professional Education focusing on how the Neuromusculoskeletal (NMSK) System is taught in Higher Education.
He offers an integrative approach to the treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of pain and dysfunction, having a strong interest in sports medicine and movement disorders. His goal is to provide the answers patients are looking for regarding their pain and dysfunction and offer the means to help optimize their movement, performance and health. He calls this approach Physical Medicine, and provides the manual medicine or physical therapies needed to restore optimal function of the nervous system, muscles and joints in order to reduce pain and promote optimal function. He integrates a variety of soft tissue therapies such as Fascial Distortion Model (FDM), instrument assisted fascial release, active release and Fascial Manipulation, chiropractic joint manipulation and mobilization and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture. Together with rehabilitative exercises and Kinesiology Taping, this physical medicine and active rehabilitation aids in returning his patients to optimal health.
